Creative Arts Therapist & Holistic Counselor
I am a passionate Creative Arts Therapist and Holistic Counselor dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with their inner strength, joy, and sense of purpose.
Growing up as a first-generation Fijian Indian Australian, I witnessed first hand the challenges of navigating cultural expectations, family pressures, and the complexities of feeling truly seen and heard.
Through my own struggles in life there was a time when I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety and PTSD. I had seen many counselors before understanding that talk therapy wasn't enough for me to work through the emotions and built up energy in my body. Creative arts therapy help me understand that I needed to connect to my body to connect with where those emotions were stored so that I could process them through intentional movement, sound therapy, music, art, clay work.
These experiences inspired me to create safe, judgment-free spaces where clients can explore their emotions, process life transitions, express themselves and reconnect to their innate self.
I believes that healing happens when people are supported to lead their own journey, whether through art, reflective practices, or holistic counseling. My approach is gentle, empowering, and tailored to each person, helping them release stress, build confidence, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-understanding and well-being.
Tanya completed a Creative Arts Therapist & Holistic Counseling Practioner Certificate and is currently working her way through a Masters in Counseling.
